At ZoneWave we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what personal data we process, why, and what your rights are, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 on Personal Data Protection (LOPDGDD). It applies to this website and to the apps published by Zonewave.

2. What data we process and why
2.1. Browsing this website
This website does not use forms, analytics tools, advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) technically processes your IP address and request data (browser, date and time) in order to serve the website and protect it against attacks.
- Purpose: to provide the service and keep the website secure.
- Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in operating a secure, functioning website.
- Retention: the limited period set by the provider for its security logs.
2.2. Contact and support
If you email or call us, we will process the data you give us (name, email address, phone number and the content of your enquiry, including technical information about your device if you send it).
- Purpose: to answer your enquiry or support request.
- Legal basis: your consent when contacting us (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and, if you use our apps, performance of the licence agreement (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Retention: for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and, afterwards, for the statutory limitation periods for any potential liability.
2.3. Our apps
We design our apps following the principle of data minimisation: we only process the data strictly needed for them to work. Where an app processes personal data, we state it below and on its App Store or Google Play listing.
In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play), who act as independent controllers under their own privacy policies. ZoneWave does not receive your payment details.
3. Recipients and processors
We do not sell or share your data with third parties unless required by law. To provide our services we rely on providers that process data on our behalf, under data processing agreements:
- Cloudflare, Inc.: website hosting and attack protection.
- Google LLC / Google Ireland Ltd.: corporate email.
4. International transfers
Some of these providers may process data in the United States. Such transfers are covered by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (European Commission adequacy decision of 10 July 2023), under which both providers are certified, and, where applicable, by the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
5. Your rights
You may at any time exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and data portability, withdraw any consent given, and not be subject to automated individual decision-making. To do so, email info@zonewave.info stating the right you wish to exercise. We will reply within one month.
If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) or with the supervisory authority of your country of residence.
6. Children
Our services are not directed at children under 14. If you are under that age, you need your parents' or guardians' consent to provide us with personal data.
7. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse or unauthorised access, such as encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access to information.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect legal changes or changes to our services. The current version, with its update date, will always be published on this page.
